Anita Barone
Anita Barone is a versatile stage actress who's mostly confined to TV sitcoms. She first got a stage appearance in the year she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a season that aired on ABC between 1995 between 1995 and 1996. Barone played on stage in her first performance at age five in Detroit when her family relocated to the city from St Louis. By the time she turned 23, Barone had already appeared in over 50 productions. The majority of these were performed in the regional and university theatres. Her stage credits include Juliet as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," Helen Keller in a production of "Monday After The Miracle" and the title role of Agnes who is a young, tormented nun in "Agnes of the Gods." She made her screen debut with a small role in "The Rosary Murders" (1987) and also had an appearance part in "Ricochet" (1991) as well as was cast as the lead in the indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" (1996). Barone made her debut Hollywood job as a part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) - the ill-fated attempt to be a part of Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program. Barone was also in the"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She eventually came back to her regular routine on sitcoms, costarring with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio".
